How do you feel about your life in this moment?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 12, 2009:

  I am excited and apprehensive at the same time.  In two weeks, I will begin a new chapter in my life as a third, fourth and fifth grade science teacher.  I'm entering my 17th year of teaching, but starting something new is always unnerving.  I love science, but the curriculum is restrictive.  I just hope I find all of the cool ways to engage my students and cultivate learning and a love of science.

The hardest thing about being me is the part that wants to read between the lines... the part of me that looks for meaning or deeper meaning in situations.  Sometimes I just feel like there is more than meets the eye... and often times, there is.
