1. The smell of Karl's fresh apfel kuchen as it bakes in the oven. Okay, okay, I'm totally spoiled by his baking!
2. Tonight's sunset.
3. The fact that there's a LIVE ladybug still in my bedroom. Yes, you may find it creepy, but I will let it be.
4. My "hope" painting done by RainCrow. The painting hangs over my bed and it reminds me that there is always hope.
5. My cats and their sweetness.
6. Making new friends but keeping the old. Thanks for the friend invite, Trinity. Thanks for the email, Amber!
7. I love the harbor light in the early morning. It is especially beautiful this time of year.

apfel kuchen… apfel kuchen… apfel kuchen… and I butchering German, Yiddish, or Swedish when I say that three times fast and what the heck is it?! I'm thinking it's something that makes the 'Kutchen' smell like 'Apfels” {{{ggl}}} and I think I gained three lbs by reading about it! LOL
Everything's especially beautiful this time of year except maybe for my hair and I know you'd understand that!
1. Wall heaters! Our new house has them instead of baseboard heaters and they remind me of growing up with a little electric fire hazard called a space heater… we used to wrap a blanket around us in the morning and stand over the electric heater… aaaaaahhhh!
2. Obama $$$. We got some today after amending my 2008 taxes!
3. The sunshine coming thru the window this afternoon right onto the living room couch where my iguana and I napped for an hour.
4. That I still fit into the winter clothes that came out from under my bed. The little shrinky elf took a vacation this summer and left my clothes the same size instead of making them too small for me to wear this year!
