Zaadz/Gaia One Year Anniversary!

Well, a year ago today, I was in a very sad place in my life. A friend of mine invited me to check out this place called Zaadz. I poked around and worried that I wouldn't fit in. I didn't join. I poked around some more. I joined. I felt like a fish out of water. I had one friend, and that was the person who had invited me. UGH! I wished that I knew how to go about blogging and making friends and learning and growing. I think I'm on my way. I'm as stubborn as all Hell, so I probably haven't grown like I could have, but there's always room for improvement. Please join me in this one year celebration! Here's to another year of friends, fun, growing and living.

Sometimes friendships don't last the way we'd like them to. The friend who brought me here has chosen to cut ties with me, and I understand that (sort of). Well, each person has to go his/her own way - to grow or not to grow… to live or to feel sorry for yourself… Some things just weren't meant to be… those situations make room for what's really supposed to be there. I thank you for who you are. You are always so bright and bubbly!

Thank you for being part of my circle of friends. I guess year two calls for me digging a little deeper and letting go of some fear. It's amazing how fear - such a negative thing, can be the thing that gives you comfort… knowing that because you are scared, you protect yourself by not putting yourself out there. So begins the next phase!

I want to know how Lars does that too. But he won't tell! How does he know all these things? I'm lucky if I remember anything. He's like a wizard with all those facts….It's amazing.
Lars is THE Gaian Wizard when it comes to cool stuff like that… he must have a magical archival wand… I thought what he did was too cool. I guess some things must remain a secret though… otherwise they wouldn't be special! :-)
